The forest village has a coast to the Black Sea and was founded by the Bozhanlı Turks, one of the Turkmen tribes. There is a four-faucet fountain built in 1898 in the name of The Deceased Lady Vesile. Kabasakal Mosque and the shrine of İsmail Dede of Horasan, who lived 700 years ago, are the symbols of Bozhane. The village in which ancient wooden and stone village houses and the newly built modern villa let the visitor experience two different time periods is built on the shore of the Riva River. The promenade and picnic areas near the river attract many visitors in the summer.
