Anadoluhisarı Toplarönü Open Air Masjid
You must absolutely see Anadoluhisarı Toplarönü Open Air Masjid inside the little garden that is located opposite the Fort’s walls overlooking the Bosphorus after passing over the Göksu River after the Küçüksu Mihrişah Valide Sultan Mosque. The open-air masjid is one of the few examples of the kind that could reach today in Istanbul. The open-air masjid is located inside the garden to the southwest of the fort and has an area of 20x25 meters. The mihrab and pulpit of the Anadoluhisarı Toplarönü Open air masjid is laid with clean-cut stones. The open-air masjid is still open for worship on Fridays between May and September. The Beykoz Municipality distributes pilaf with meat to the congregation after the Friday prayers.
